Information, not a fatwa

Halalo shows how each place is labelled and where that label comes from. Certificates expire and kitchens change, so always confirm with staff. Halalo is not responsible for what a restaurant serves.

Your account

You sign in with Apple. Keep your device secure; you can delete your account at any time from Profile › Settings › Account.

Ratings and visits

Ratings are scores only. Don’t use Halalo to harass businesses or other travellers. We may remove abusive activity.

Public profiles and conduct

Halalo has zero tolerance for objectionable content and abusive users. Names, usernames and activity that are hateful, sexual, threatening or harassing aren’t allowed, and offensive names are filtered. Report any public profile or block any traveller from their profile (•••). Profiles several travellers report are hidden automatically; we review every report within 24 hours and remove the content and the account behind it.

Halalo Pro

Pro is an auto-renewing subscription or a one-time purchase handled by Apple. Prices are shown before you buy. Manage or cancel in the iPhone Settings app › Apple Account › Subscriptions. Apple’s standard EULA applies.

Codes and invites

Promo codes and invite rewards add free days of Pro to your account. A friend’s invite counts once they log a meal or score a place. Each code can be used once per account, has no cash value and may expire. We may withdraw rewards obtained through abuse, such as fake accounts.

Content

Illustrations, the mascot and the app design are Halalo’s own. Place information is compiled from the public sources listed in Sources & Credits. If you own content shown in Halalo and want it changed or removed, email ergashevpulot@gmail.com and we will act within 7 days.
